Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Kontakt Player with your products?
Our current products are not compatible with the freely downloadable Kontakt Player or with the Kontakt Player that came with another company's product. They will load and play but will be time-limited and display "DEMO" in the instrument's name.
Do you ever have sales or discounts?
We not not have sales or offer discounts, except for introductory prices on new releases. We try to keep our prices affordable for just about everyone. This means that you can buy from us anytime, and feel confident that you won’t see it priced for less at a later time. Also, see next FAQ.
What are RAR files, and what do I do with them?
We use RAR files for larger downloads because we can split the library into smaller chunks to download, making life a bit easier for customers with slower internet connections.
To unpack RAR files:
1. First, be sure to download the RAR files one at a time, waiting for each file to completely download before starting the next one. Downloading the files simultaneously will cause errors. Your download link should be good for a few days after purchase.
2. For Mac users, get The Unarchiver, free from the App Store. Windows users please use WinRAR, not WinZip. Winzip will not work.
3. After all files have been downloaded, open only the part one file. The other files will unpack automatically, leaving you with a single library folder.
4. Your library folder contains a Documentation folder, which contains an installation PDF document to help you get set up.
Why can't I find my new library listed in the "Libraries" in Kontakt's Browser?
As a third-party developer, we do not license the Kontakt Player, so our library doesn't appear there. Just navigate to the product folder using the "Files" tab in Kontakt's Browser.
Can I install Indiginus' libraries on my desktop computer AND my laptop?
Yes. We allow installation on any of your own computers and encourage you to create a DVD backup. You may not, however, allow anyone else to copy our products onto their computer(s).
