No, we didn’t. But we did sample a cool little modern version of an ancient instrument!
There are controls for release sample volume, envelope release time, and some simple effects. Double Mode gives you a kind of wide stereo double-tracked effect. The mod wheel (MIDI CC1) adds vibrato. Pretty much what you’d hear if ancient harps had whammy bars. And we don’t know for sure that they didn’t, do we?
The kinnor harp we sampled had only ten strings, but by doing some creative re-tuning, and using sample-stretching magic we managed to fill three octaves for your plucking pleasure.
